The nomadic lifestyle has its benefits but sometimes it's nice to have some roots as well. I've been lucky to have this little piece of paradise as my adopted home for the last 3 years. Somewhere to share stories with good friends, climb mountains, surf, unwind and just breath in a bit of fynbos-scented Betty's bay air.
In september I went walking with the Willems family in the middle of the spring flower season
These were a few just between the house and the beach, the mountainsides were covered in all sorts of other flowers...i need to learn my plant names!
