About Me

My photo
Robs
I was born at the tip of the African continent under the shadow of Table Mountain and my earliest adventures and memories are scattered between Cape Town, northern Kwa-Zulu Natal and Zimbabwe. From there my family traveled to europe, northern canada and australia eventually settling in the southernmost corner of New Zealand's south island. Only a year later we were on the move again, this time to a small town in northern British Columbia where my parents would stay for the next 16 years. My nomadic tendencies were already set, though, and I have so far never managed to stay anywhere longer than 7 years. My adventures have taken me from the snowy mountains of western Canada to the red-gold autumns of New York state to the blue mountains of Australia and eventually back "home" - Africa. In between there have been some amazing places to see and people to meet in all corners of the world. For now I am based in Ireland for a couple of years to finish my studies, and so you will find a few photos of this emerald isle and its wonderful people and waves as well. As Helen Keller said - Life is either one daring adventure, or it is nothing.
